Introduction Mount Kilimanajro

Day 1: Marangu gate – Mandara hut
After breakfast, drive to Marangu gate an altitude of 1,860
Walk to Mandara hut 2,741m ( 9,00ft) through dense semi-tropical rain forest and Maundi creater. Dinner and overnight at Mandara Hut.

Day 2: Mandara – Horombo hut

Day 1: Machame gate – Machame hut
Pick up and drive to Machame gate and walk through the forest to Machame Hut at 3000m . Diner and overnight at Machame Hut.

Day 2: Machame – Shira hut
After breakfast cross the valley and continue along the step

Day 1: Arusha – Lave Caves
After breakfast to Marangu gate and then to Umbwe village to start to climb for four hours through the rain forest to camp at the 2800m above the sea level.

Day 2: Lava Caves – Barranco hut
After breakfast continue ascending a long a sharp ridge giving a distinct high mountain feeling then onto the moorland camp and mid after noon stay at Barranco Hut 3900m

Day 1:Moshi/Arusha —– Lemosho gate

After breakfast drive from Arusha/Moshi and start climb at Lemosho Glades(2100m) for 3-4 hours through the forest zone about 7kms,dinner and overnight at Mti Mkubwa Camp(2780m)

Day 2: Mti Mkubwa —— Shira One

After breakfast continue through the forest steeply climbing for 4-5 hours into the heather

Day 1: Moshi/Arusha ——— Rongai

After breakfast drive to Marangu gate for registration, leter drive to Nalemuru gate (2020m) and start climb for 3-4 hours through the mountain’s forest about 8kms,dinner and overnight at Simba Camp (2625m)

Day 2: Simba camp —— Thirdcave

After breakfast trek for 5-7 hours through grassy moorland and heather to second cave
